The old Woodhaven station platform still remains, though broken and decrepit. While some parts of this station might bear keeping as a historical artifact, the parts of the platforms that run behind people's houses in Richmond Hill and Woodhaven should be removed and replaced with landscaping that provides a barrier between the QueensWay and people's backyards. Currently the platforms openly stand over many backyards, presenting both an eyesore and an understandable concern to residents were the platforms to be incorporated in to the proposed park. Both issues can be addressed leaving home owners with a much more attractive vista and addressing their privacy and security concerns.
