As a parent in the community, I would love to see the QueensWay include programming specifically for kids. I would encourage the planning team to look at partnerships with local schools and Queens' great selection of existing community and cultural organizations. Utilize this great new open space for recreational activity, nature walks, art exhibits and displays and new play areas for kids. Create connections between the Forest Hills and Glendale Little Leagues. I would also suggest looking at how parks around the world are programmed and see what might work on the QueensWay.
